What does a great photograph mean to you?

Do you get excited by eclectic style and individual flair in images? Something off the beaten path yet inherently beautiful? Share your thoughts on what makes a photographic image great - describe the feeling that you get when you see an image that makes you go “wow” and why it provokes that feeling.
Oftentimes portraits only manage to capture a small facet of their subjects’ personality. A person is like a prism - complex and multifaceted - and a good image captures all of the different nuances and subtleties of the spirit in front of the lens.
We here at Mae Photography are dedicated to creating images that reflect the real inner spirit of our clients. None of that impersonal, over-posed, old school stuff - we like to create organic relationships between the subject and the final portrait.
